The Space
If you have ever dreamt of a holiday on the Amalfi Coast, but at the same time you seek greenery and tranquillity here it is the ideal solution. Yet only a few steps away from the road.
Located only 5km away from Amalfi, only 150 steps from the road this fully restored house dates back to the XVII century and it was used as a farmhouse until the beginning of the 1900’s. The house is surrounded by a large terraced lemon garden and fruit trees such as: oranges, walnuts, plums, figs, hazelnuts, pears, apples and grapes. Those all together constitute the orchard Mamma Carmela.
Not only is this perfect for total relaxation but you can also admire the peculiar vaulted ceiling which is typical of mainland southern Italy and its isles.
The owner, whilst safeguarding the original shape of the building, has created an ambient perfect for those who need to relax and love trekking.
Every single detail has been painstakingly looked after: from the lampshades to the famed hand-painted tiles of Vietri sul Mare. Everything has been chosen in order to achieve a sense of exclusivity and refinement.
Moreover, the scent of fresh fruits and flowers will make great accompaniment to a fragrant morning coffee to be taken on the panoramic terrace.
The house has a bright living room with a large bed, the living room leads onto a terrace with a breathtaking view.

Guest Access: The terrace is private and not shared with anyone.
It is possible to organise a visit of the orchard.

Getting around: The Sita bus stop is roughly 10-15 mins away. Road parking available. We are happy to organise transfers to/from station and airport. We can also assist in booking excursions along the coast and o Capri Island.
Other Things to Note: For a small extra you can enjoy the use of a private swimming pool nearby. The swimming pool is reached by complimentary shuttle bus.
